Field Coordinator
Overview / Responsibilities
Amec Foster Wheeler's Power & Process business is seeking an experienced Field Coordinator to be located at a field assignment in Rosemount, MN. Reporting to the field Project Engineer, the successful candidate will provide an interface between field construction and project administration. Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with project specifications & requirements
Assist Project Engineer and field superintendent in their responsibilities
Collection and organization of deliverable data from subcontractors
Assist in work progressing
Assist in schedule updates
Coordinate Request for Information (RFI) process
Change Management - identify, document, and coordinate change conditions
Document field modifications to engineering documents
Skills / Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience on industrial projects
Previous work experience on Greenfield and Brownfield construction projects executed via subcontractors would be considered an asset
Strong skills in MS Word/Excel/Outlook
Due to the large percentage of time spent in the field, candidates must be able to perform physical activities such as extended periods of walking in areas of uneven ground conditions in varying environmental conditions, climbing stairs, scaffolds and ladders, entering confined spaces and excavations
Additionally, extended periods of time are spent driving around the construction footprint in a four wheel drive pick-up truck over varying, sometimes very rough terrain with frequent need to access/egress vehicle to check on status of work
